Working with Dora Cruz, participants will use dance techniques and advance photography techniques to create still images. The Northern Light Painters will then teach participants how to paint with light, creating a stunning dance image that can be taken home.
Dora Cruz works towards using community spirit, dance, music, drama and cultural diversity to overcome personal and social issues; using the arts to bring people together, discover identities and celebrate differences.
The Northern Lights Painters, based in Uppermill near Manchester, produce dramatic images using an array of different light sources and experimental photographic techniques. The group use unusual locations as backdrops to their stunning imagery.
